You cannot tell whether someone is an illegal by appearance ... I disagree with that. Having lived most of my life in CO and several years in NM most illegal aliens from Mexico and Latin America stand right out from Hispanic Americans. Not 100% for sure but quite a lot of them.

I agree. I was born and raised in Colorado and have lived in NM the last 60 years. You can tell who most of the illegals, especially the recent ones, by their accent.
