Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is the latest Republican to decline an invitation to next month's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), the annual gathering that typically attracts the nation's most prominent conservative names.

A spokesman for Rubio said the conference isn't on the senator's schedule, telling the St. Petersburg Times that Rubio will be focused on his work in the Senate during CPAC week and will then "return to Florida for a working weekend."

Good for Senator Rubio!
CPAC lost their way last year with their invitation to include homosexuals...

First he can’t take time to meet with the Tea Party Caucus...now this this.

Of all the people this guy could emulate he chooses the RINO McCain.

Rubio is proving his words during the campaign were nothing but B.S.!

Thanks for nothing you wussified RINO!

Here's a WA Times article on the continuing controversy:

Washington Times article on CPAC meeting

I'm glad to see that the Heritage Foundation and Concerned Women for America are boycotting this year, as are most other social conservative organizations.

Meanwhile Gingrich and Romney and Mitch Daniels will be there with their pals from GOProud.

So you think Rubio should participate with CPAC?
Why?

Ummmm this is what the MOST conservative elected officials and organizations are doing due to the presence of the Republican Sodomy Caucus. The RINOs are in FAVOR of homo pandering so the RINOs WILL be there. Rubio WON'T be there. Got it?

Ha Ha Ha!

The stooges that run CPAC can’t pimp Romney anymore.

This is too funny!

Everybody that is really anybody in conservative circles is boycotting this homo-friendly, Islam-friendly group.

A few of us have been warning everyone about Marco Rubio...who is nothing more than Mel Martinez, Jr.

It is a myth that Marco Rubio is a conservative. You are more likely to see a unicorn before Rubio becomes conservative.

Although dumping CPAC is not a big thing...he has already turned his back on the Tea Party

This is no surprise.....Rubio supports Illegal Alien Amnesty and supports Cap and Trade legislation. He klilled 10 seperate bills, while as Speaker of Florida House, that would have eliminated Illegal Aliens from Florida.

Only a fool, idiot, or Liberal still thinks Rubio is a conservative

Well, exactly who did you want to win in Florida - Meek or Crist? I don’t think that anyone else was running (or at least had a serious shot at winning).

Can’t blame him for avoiding the homos. If he’s heading to CFAG like the rest of RINOS, the they should just head here on Hollywood where I’m at..close to GLAAD and a bunch of 6-foot black trannies selling crack (No, I’m not exaggerating).

I don’t think was about inclusion but about a platform.

Next week, the CPAC meeting will be re-named, "LGTFAGSPAC".

When the "conservative" PAC wants queers more than regular folks, let them hold their meeting in a pup tent.

CPAC host hit with scandal

“The non-profit organization responsible for the largest annual conservative gathering in the U.S. is under investigation for embezzlement of hundreds of thousands of dollars in donor money over several years, WND has learned.

The American Conservative Union, headed by David Keene and best known for its organization of the Conservative Political Action Conference each year in the nation’s capital, has been embroiled in controversies in recent years, but this one is shaking the foundations of the Washington institution.

The American Conservative Union reported to the Internal Revenue Service last month a “material diversion of the organization’s assets” totaling over $400,000.”

Maybe ... but don't RINO's who support "acceptance" in their platform (including DADT repeal; abortion "rights," etc.) also support "inclusion" and big tent views across the spectrum?
