I agree to a point, but I would like to know your brakes work.The government has never checked my brakes. They just sniff my exhaust anally and if my emissions pass, they renew my registration. That's the extent of the registration renewal process around here.

In NY you get a thorough lookover. In GA, they check lights at a minimum, not sure about brakes but I think they do. Exhaust is a roger too.
