Does Matthews have a law degree? She’s a smart lady who specializes in tax law. Bachman and DeMint are looking like real winners today - both of them having spoken out early on in the debate. Never backed down. She makes his beloved obama look like the wuss he is. Put up zero’s resume against Judge Vinson’s. No contest.
Ridiculous. Anyone who actually watched her address after the SOTU had to be impressed with her. She knocked it out of the damned park. So the media is trying to keep the stereotype of women as bimbos alive. NBC is evil. Olbermann and Matthews hate powerful women, period.

I’d bet almost any amount of money that Bachmann reads more than Chris Matthews. I heard her interviewed — I think on CSPAN — and she talked about how she is always reading books on current affairs.

You made me bust out laughing with your post. As a NYer I will update your reference: the gays have all moved up to a place in NYC named Chelsea. After the AIDS crisis, the area went back to being a quiet, artsy neighborhood. But Chris still rides side saddle.
I suspect Chrissy finds himself behind Olberman in the unemployment line in a few weeks.

Chris Matthews is preaching to the leftist choir at this point. Besides, his TV audience is relatively minuscule. Michele Bachmann, like Sarah Palin, has obviously rattled the left-wing with her common sense statements but Matthews’ specious insults will have little effect on the ladies. In fact, all of this nasty insulting of conservative female politicians coming from leftist stooges such as Chris Matthews will probably backfire at some point. The longtime leftist meme that all conservatives are ‘stupid’, inferring that only liberals are intelligent, is getting very old. I doubt many Americans that pay attention to what the ladies being insulted by the likes of the unimpressive and annoyingly aggressive Chris Matthews are actually saying are buying the leftist rhetoric anymore. Not that the the leftmedia can’t influence peoples perceptions of any political figure but with Fox News and the internet, Palin, Bachmann, et al. can overcome much of the nonsense puked up by the likes of Chris Matthews.
