Others here may disagree but in instances such as this I think WikiLeaks proves that it is a valuable source of information that would otherwise not see the light of day. Good on you, Mr. Assange.

He's doing it because he loves America and want to keep her safe. /sarc

We like the leaks that serve our cause. Mark my words, Wikileaks will hurt our country and may end up getting people you love killed.

Intelligence is meant for those we entrust it to.

It's not a perfect system but it's all we got.

If I was King, Assange and Manning would have had their necks stretched after a very brief trial.

Hell, these two homos only did it all as blackmail for the repeal DADT and Obama ending up giving that away for free.

This whole thing will be looked back upon as a sad moment in our history.

In a perfect world, complete transparency in government would be a good thing.

But in a world where where WMD exist, and illiberal leaders rule illiberal people with designs on world conquest - secrets need to be kept.

One-way street transparency is a dangerous thing that has been and will continue to be used against us...
