Good news, but if I had been one of those firemen, I would have flat out refused to participate in the parade in the first place. And if they would have threatened to fire me for not participating in such a parade, then I wouldn’t want to work for that fire department anyway.

I highly doubt the city would have made them participate in a religious parade.
