The rumor of an anti-gun speech has been around for a while, perhaps it is coming, but I don’t see much chance of getting a new gun law throught this Congress.

Then again, I have little faith in the law makers of this country any more.

Like Mubarak our government isn’t listening.

Let President Zero make his speech. In fact, let him make it one of his major planks in his 2012 platform. Go, Zero, go I say! If he and his willing idiots should do this it will merely peel off more of those who would otherwise vote for him. For example, gun owning union members, hunters and gun sportsmen in purple states. And, others such as those who are constitutionalists. I think it's great, make your speech(s) Zero, rock’n roll!

Yep. But curiously, this “rumor” has appeared in only neo-Marxist venues like MSNBC, Newsweek/DailyBeast and Time.

Personally, I think it’s all just wishful thinking by the gun controllers and their Marxist media friends who must think they can gain some traction on this issue by pushing it in the Marxist media.

Gun control is a major loser for the DimRats and no new gun control is going to pass the House anyway, so all they’ll do is expose themselves as the gun controllers they really are, and yet not manage to pass any actual legislation.
