LOL! Actually, this is what it says:
“When deputies arrived they found the man with an injured foot and two others.”
But I like your interpretation better. You are correct that the writer doesn’t understand English. Or maybe the guy was simply trying to remove his extra foot.
It sounds like the followup story will report the injured man has “one foot”.
They still do, but the teachers can't write either.
