WASHINGTON Former US president Jimmy Carter, who brokered the existing peace agreement between Israel and Egypt, predicted Sunday that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will have to resign because "the people have decided," a report said.
"This is the most profound situation in the Middle East since I left office," Carter said during the Sunday religion class he teaches at a Baptist church in his hometown of Plains, in the southern state of Georgia. Carter's comments were reported by the Ledger-Enquirer newspaper of Columbus, Georgia. A spokeswoman for the former president did not immediately respond to AFP to confirm them.

Actually, the people decided in Iran. But Barak said NO.
I think Carter should go over there and negotiate Mubarak’s departure.
STFU you cretin. We’re still paying for your ineptitude 30 years later.
The arrogance of this worthless little man is still staggering.
Anything this idiot supports is suspect.
Geee ... and thanks a lot for that too, Jimmah
Jew-hater Jimmy has no credibility when it comes to the Middle East.
Hey Jimmy, we decided on you a long time ago,
now go away!
I'll handle this the way I want to handle it now that I'm here. You f***ed it up to begin with. Now just sit there or leave. I don't give a sh*t what you do.
and 30 years from now we will be looking back seeing Obama as a more potent reincarnation of Carters incompetency.
Obama and Egypt will equal Carter and Iran.
Don’t bet against this-these idiots don’t know who their friends are.
Next up, kidnappings and takeover by radical Jihadists...in this case the Muslim Brotherhood, the same garbage who murdered Sadat.
Gosh, it's Deja Vu all over again.
Only this time, it's the Hussein Obama moment.
Bingo! The most succinct statement yet
"This is the most profound situation in the Middle East since I left office," Carter said during the Sunday religion class he teaches at a Baptist church in his hometown of Plains...That must be some church. Standards even lower than the DNC. Thanks Suvroc10.
WASHINGTON Former US president Jimmy Carter, who brokered the existing peace agreement between Israel and Egypt, predicted Sunday that last year's health care bill that Obama signed will have to be repealed because "in November, the people have decided," a report said.
"This is the most profound situation in the United States since I left office," Carter said during the Sunday religion class he teaches at a Baptist church in his hometown of Plains, in the southern state of Georgia.
Carter's comments were reported by the Ledger-Enquirer newspaper of Columbus, Georgia. A spokeswoman for the former president did not immediately respond to AFP to confirm them.
Carter, who recently was an official election observer in Sudan, said he expected the Democrat Party's protests to taper off in the months ahead, but predicted that Obama "will have to sign the repeal," the newspaper reported.
"The President and Democrat leadership wants the legislation to stay, but the people have decided," said the 86-year-old Carter, calling the unprecedented vote in November "earth shaking."
Earlier Sunday, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called for an "orderly transition" and "real democracy" in the United States but stopped short of demanding that Obama sign the repeal.
Carter said the Democrat Party has become corrupt over its years in power, but praised Obama's newly appointed vice president, Keith Olbermann: "He's an intelligent man whom I like very much."
