“8 HOURS 10 MINUTES TO TRAVEL 165 MILES! “
Hey IDIOT, you forgot something. Unless the person just happens to be going from train station to train station, there is significant additional time. Plus there is the time waiting for the (usually late) train to arrive at the station.
well uni...all this might make very good sense....but what about the crips and the bloods and their need to safely get their weed and crack intracity? pharmaceuticals have become a large part of our economy...trouble is tho....them gang a bangers...always pack heat ...and my guess is there’ll be a lot of shootin up of both kinds in rail cars..this has a lot to do with the paranoia attendant to retail druggism.....so, on second thought ‘THUMBS DOWN ON DA RAILS’
i reserve the balance of my time..
p.s a nice lady that i walk with of an evening here at the golf club ...tells em this story...her husb since diseased was a railroad lifer ...she got a free lifetime pass on AMTRACK anywhere she wishes to travel upon his death....she said it was very pleasant till a few years ago. At that time the brain boys at Amtrack decided to make their toilets unisex... she says they stank so much and were so filthy they were virtually useless... she says therefore she wont even travel on them for free....!
When I live in Delaware I would sometimes take the train to NYC and it took about the same time as driving.
