Check out the Drudge Report. It appears that while our media is focused on Egypt, unrest is breaking out in other Moslem countries. Drudge has articles on three separate countries - Yemen, Albania, and Jordan - where protests are occurring right now.
FReepers have been following the other countries. Nice to hear Drudge is catching up.
All of this makes me concerned that the Muslim fanatics (not sure there are other kinds) are plotting major terror events in the USA and Europe.
Internationally there is always a response to weakness. Nature abhors a vacuum. If we are not there to keep the lid on, it pop off. Think also Cetral/South America. May God have mercy on us.
Don’t forget about the MILF’s in the Phillipines.

I agree with you. I can’t believe that the modern women or youth would prefer oppression from one side vs oppression from the other.
Well, if the Panama Canal located in Egypt is shut down, I bet the Suez Canal located in the Republic of Panama will get some extra business.
Or is that the Erie Canal in the Republic of Panama?
I am so confused!!!
It seems to me that Arabs need to be more concerned and more afraid of the terrorists, jihadists, extremists and radicals in their midst than they should be about Israel.
What is happening in such places as Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Somali, Afghanistan and Pakistan should be a wake up call to all moderate, peace and freedom loving Arabs.
Iran may be behind much of what is going on in these countries because such instability only makes Iran stronger and more powerful an influence. Iran is using religious prejudice among other things to cause violence because it is a distraction from the world concentrating on ending Iran’s nuclear ambitions. It would not surprise me to learn that Iran is using the Muslim brotherhood or in cahoots with them to bring this about. The recent terror attack in Russia should be a wake up call to that country that helping, aiding and supporting a country like Iran will come back and bite them on the ass, backfire on them.
Real protests?
Its going to be interesting to see what happens when the financial markets open on Monday. By the way, CNBC Asia starts broadcasting at about 6:00PM tonight from Australia. My bet is that oil prices will go above $90.00 per barrel in the first hour of trading in Asia.
See tagline. It pisses off oh, so tolerant Liberals, who can’t/won’t see that Islam is a totalitarian political system masquerading as a religion.
I think it’s ironic that this administration wanted to slowly squeeze us to death to force us in the direction of their choosing, and now things are beginning to spiral out of control around the world which I think will more likely cause a bigger push back here at home. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he decided to throw in the towel and walk away from the job because it’s just no fun anymore. Now it’s more like work. He just ain’t up to it.
If only they would rise up and destroy the jihadi-inspired governments and establish tolerant, peace-loving, kind, cooperative, friendly governments that would jail all the headchoppers.
Laz would hit it!
Obama his admin and his flunkies all seem to be sending mixed messages.
They are cowards, wimps, sissies and girly men.
“All of this makes me concerned that the Muslim fanatics (not sure there are other kinds) are plotting major terror events in the USA and Europe.”
Not going to happen. The Muzzies have an ally in Obama. They are not going to foment any anti-muslim behaviors. Our society is collapsing on itself. We are not going to be touched.
The Ground Zero mosque was a trial balloon.
"In Canada, Egyptian-Canadians and others inspired by the protests half a world away made their voices heard at potentially the largest demonstration at Toronto's Yonge-Dundas Square from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET. "The rally started about an hour ago and the crowd is still growing," the CBC's Mellissa Fung reported. "We're estimating there are about 250 people here." Organizers expected more than 1,000 to turn out."
From Chicago Breaking News:
"Surrounded by several hundred fellow protesters along North Michigan Avenue Saturday, Ayman Hamed shouted slogans against Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak until he was hoarse.
As in Chicago, protesters took the streets in San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C. and other cities. Egyptian activist Web sites reflect plans for more U.S. protests on Sunday, including one scheduled in the southern Illinois city of Urbana."
And I have seen other sites reporting the same in Berlin and the UK.
I have to say it...
I’d hit it!
Yep, I have a picture in my mind of what I call “the Napoleon Dynamite Run”, by obama.
kevlisababy, T. Boone Pickens was being intereviewed on FoxNews yesterday and seemed to indiacte that he thinks, this will push 0bama over the edge and that he may change his attitude towards offshore drilling, hydraulic fracking and greenhouse gas emissions. 0bama now realizes how vulnerable that his re-eelction bid is if oil prices go through the roof.
I wouldnt be surprised at all if he decided to throw in the towel and walk away from the job because its just no fun anymore. Now its more like work. He just aint up to it.
I doubt it...he's dreamed of being a lame duck president and not having to answer to the voters for an entire presidential term. I don't think he wants to give that up...he'll do anything to keep that possibility alive. But if oil prices go nuts or if gas lines re-appear...he's done.
