That may be useful against the new Egyptian regime.

I’m afraid this won’t be the last measurable explosion from the Middle East.

Another ‘bump’ to the jetstream, trying to see if they can readjust it?

Before the test at the Trinity in July 1945, there was a pretest of 110 tons of TNT. This was used to calibrtate for the actual test.

“Mushroom-shaped cloud”, possibly visible in Egypt, Gaza, Palestinian territories, Jordan?
Sure beats Western Union as a way to deliver a message.

I wonder if Israel is just making sure that if a missile is launched they’ll know it. Or if a muslim farts.

So, they’re testing their equipment for when they blow all the arab nations to hell?
Seriously, this is serious. Israel will use the nuke if that’s what it takes. And who can blame them when they know the mussies would certainly use one if they had it.

The Israeli test did use 100 tons of TNT. It is similar to what happened in July 1945.

I wonder if they are bringing it out of the basement.

100 tons of TNT were set off at Trinity to calibrate the instruments for “The Gadget”...

Something was definitely being calibrated, maybe not just seismic monitoring stations however.
To: ltc8k6
Actually it was 108 tons of TNT

Before you go hunting or off to war, it is wise to stop by a range and make sure that your weaponry is in proper order, otherwise you might find yourself being the one who brought a dud to a nuke fight.
