Obama's visit delayed
By Lynn Ondrusek
Collegian Staff Writer
Student tickets are available today for President Barack Obama’s Rec Hall speech — originally scheduled for Wednesday but pushed back to Thursday due to expected inclement weather.

Tickets to Obama’s speech, which was initially invitation-only, will be distributed at noon today, Penn State spokeswoman Lisa Powers said. About 1,000 tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis in the HUB-Robeson Center, and a student ID is required to get one ticket per person, Powers said.

Obama will speak about energy efficiency at 12:15 Thursday in Rec Hall.

Some student leaders said they are excited for the president’s visit.
