What makes you think that?
My guess is you voted for John McCain in 2008.
What makes you think that?
'cause I had to vote for that two-faced POS too.
For what is she owed?
Politicians "owing" favors to other politicians helped get us into the mess we are in.
ANY politician who does anything politically, either in election support or legislative support as a quid pro quo, is dishonest, and does not warrant my support.
So, you just go ahead and support old-style politics as usual, and may you end up with more old-style corrupt politicians.
For me, I'll support someone who most closely mirrors my politics, and is beholden to no one, including me.
For taking Nikki from 4th to 1st place with her endorsement.
If Sarah hadn't been chosen by McCain to be his VP, we would not be talking about her now. She owed him a great debt politically, and supported his Senate candidacy.
Now, if McCain supported something intrinsically evil, like legalized abortion, it would have been wrong of Sarah to support his candidacy.
Politicians have to consider many things when making decisions, and political endorsements is one of them.
Based on that, I'll look elsewhere for a candidate to support.
Former Massachusetts GOP Gov. Mitt Romney has contributed $42,000 to Nikki Haleys campaign for governor in South Carolina, POLITICO has learned.
Political action committees are typically capped at giving $3,500 per cycle, but lawyers for Romneys Free and Strong America PAC discovered that multiple PACs sharing the same leadership and office space are able to contribute $3,500 each per cycle in South Carolina, according to a Romney source.
It's one factor among many.
Based on that, I'll look elsewhere for a candidate to support.
OK.
