Something. Got it? WHAT “something”? A statement without any original documents to back it up? We’re just supposed to take their word for it? This is all a setup. It’s to “answer” the question for “honest” people without a “political agenda”. It’s to give the mainstream media something more to lie about and to use to demonize “birthers” over.
I wonder if this “certified” SOMETHING will carry any penalties, like perjury, if it turns out that somebody, someday, can PROVE that he wasn’t born there?
They won’t give a CERTIFIED COLB because they CAN’T. Why? Because they KNOW it WON’T match the COLB at FactCheck. It won’t match and they know it.
If they produce a COLB that follows their laws, they will be certifying that his online COLB is a fraud because a COLB that follows their laws WON’T match. It will, for one thing, say it was amended or late, as required by their laws. It will also state whatever fact it is that he’s been hiding for all these years.
If they produce a COLB that does match, not one of them is going to go out on a limb to certify it because something on it will NOT be true and they know it.
So they’re trying to come up with something that’s certified but doesn’t name birth parents, or any other of the birth “facts” on that online COLB, especially whatever it is that he’s hiding.
In the end, it doesn’t matter if he was born in Hawaii, if they don’t also certify who his parents were because without that knowledge, nobody can KNOW if he’s a natural born citizen. They must also certify the exact location of the birth and the date of the birth, because this also pertains, even if it was in Hawaii, because Hawaii perhaps wasn’t yet a state or maybe the birth took place on land that wasn’t part of the territory of Hawaii.
btw, Mizuno says that the WH is aware of what they’re doing with that legislation.
