I was reading Barrons about commodity prices. They said basic foods may skyrocket because a number of dictators around the world are laying in large supplies of food to pacify their unhappy people. Personally I try to keep a 3 month supply of food on hand for emergencies and price spikes.
Excellent advice to all of us. Lack of food is the greatest enemy for any society. It rates number two or number three on my list, anyhow.
