Everyone grasps the message: America’s word is worthless; an alliance with America is unreliable; American has lost it. A result of this understanding will be a turn toward China, Russia and regional powers such as Iran, Turkey and Brazil….The second result of this insight will be a series of international conflagrations that will result from the loss of America’s deterrent power. But the general result will be America’s rapid disappearance as a superpower….The policy setback which Washington will experience will be no less dramatic than the regime debacle which Cairo is experiencing. . . Who is dumb enough to want to be a U.S. ally under these conditions?

Spot on. Thanks Obama. A great legacy. . . How many people are going to die needlessly?

FWIW, did anyone else notice all the hammer and sickle flags at the demonstrations in Jordan? It was a very brief clip on FOX and about every other flag was a red flag with a yellow hammer and sickle. My gut feeling on this whole middle east turmoil is the radical left/commies have ‘community organized’ this and the MB then jumped on board. . or they have been working together orchestrating the whole thing. . with Obama’s blessing. . .

Obama does not want the US to be the world’s superpower.
I suppose reducing our influence meets the goal.

I think about the time in the Bible/NT when John the Baptist says about Jesus: “I must decrease, so he can increase”.

It’s sort of like that. We are decreasing, so ‘they’ can increase - we are no longer the world super power and it’s a ‘fair playing field’.
