The EPA mandates highway speeds in Houston even though they have admitted that it has no significant impact on air quality.
it IS about power.

The EPA is having a cow over milk spills while Congress has mandated we fill our homes with truly hazardous mercury filled CFL bulbs.

About 25 years ago my dad and I were behind a semi that jacknifed around a curve and spilled its whole 3000 gallon load. The really cool part was that it was not out in the country but in a little town with a used car lot on the curve. There were a dozen smashed cars and about 3 inches of milk as far as you could see. We stopped and checked on the driver. I swear that by the time he was down out of the truck and brushed off there were already 40 cats and dogs there. For a 10 year old kid it was not a toxic situation it was just plain AWESOME.

prepare and implement an emergency plan in the event of a milk catastrophe. Among dozens of requirements, farmers must train first responders in cleanup protocol and build containment facilities such as dikes or berms
These plans must be in place by November
And if you don't they will send in... MILK SWAT!

A few years ago, I spilled roughly a half-gallon of milk on my kitchen floor, and some of it leaked through to the basement. Will I need a hazmat team now, to rip up the flooring and replace the rug in the basement?

The EPA have really outdone themselves this time.
