Overall...things are looking okay...there are a lot more RINOs speculated to run than solid conservatives, so perhaps the RINOS will split the vote (Pawlenty, Romney, Gingrich, Huckabee).

Okay... does this mean that he WANTS people to come out and "wahH" that 'WE-WANT-DEMINT' and then, maybe, if there's enough people, he WILL run???
I thought Jim Demint was... the cool intellectual type, not given to ... stuff like this?????

DeMint has nothing to do with the effort to draft him. Just as Bachamnn has nothing to do with the effort on her behalf. We just lost Pence. We are down to about 3 conservatives that are even toying with the notion of running. We better get at least 2 in the mix.

No, DeMint will not run.
He knows that he has no chance in a national contest, and he knows that he is not a good public speaker.
He also knows that his senate seat is probably good for life. He’ll make a great Senate leader when the Republicans take the majority through TEA Party candidates.
