I see Hillary buying a home in Chicago.

With apologies to Willie Nelson.
On the ballot again -
Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway
We’re the best of friends.
Insisting that the world keep turning our way
The life I love is ruling people with my friends
Oh I can’t wait to get on the ballot again.

Unbelievable... can’t wait for this POS to sue in court to be declared the winner of the mayoral race with the third largest vote total.

It honestly makes practical sense for Emanuel to remain on the ballot.
(The votes have already been counted.)

Ah yes, Republicans (Jim Thompson, et. al.) once again playing the part of the turtle and carrying the scorpion Democrats across the pond... with the same result.

Pathetic, a 7-0 decision in his favor. So, any one who takes a job in DC, for however long, can go back where they came from to ruin that place too. What if Daley retired a year from now or 2014? This is ridiculous. Are we all entitled to dual residency or multiple residencies? Can you just run for mayor anywhere that you can buy a house or property.
To: Chicago Lampoon
I guess Chicago will need to find a Republican candidate to beat him. /sarc

And this surprises — who?

It’s for exactly decisions such as this, that the dims pack those courts to begin with.
What a joke. The year residency requirement is not unreasonable. Don’t know how the black voters felt about Carol Moseley Brown, but there could be some backlash. Not that it will matter, the machine has made its choice.

So we don’t need to pay state taxes anymore? And we can still be residents?

Good decision. The rule was written to keep Republicans off the ballot.
