Saying that Obama is ‘shameless’ is in no way incivil, if he is in fact truly shameless. The fact is, Obama does not distinguish between what is shameful, and what is not.

No the SOTU is NOT meant to be a vehicle to showcase civility; however, you must have missed the lead up to SOTU where all the Demmies & Pubbies were supposed to pick a BFF-buddy to sit next to, so that the event would be civil, would be a dignified showcase of civility.
I presume that it was the “brainstorm” of some far left Leftie, but I don’t know precisely who it was.

I don’t who sat to the right (our right) of Rand Paul at the SOTU but I saw him on FOX and I swear on my life— he looked plastic and dead.
He looked freakish sitting there— with a grin so broad and plastic— that surely he must peel it from his face every night, to soak in Efferdent.
He looked void of any thought what-so-ever, a mindless bot.

My impression was that the mixed seating was to cover up the fact that the dems got their a$$es handed to them last election.
I just thought the pubbies were silly enough to go along with it.

Obama isn't unaffected by disgrace...he is greatly affected by it.
He absolutely relishes what would be considered by others as disgraceful. It is in his shameful acts that the taunts the rest of humanity.
It is in this singular quality that one can comfortably say that Obama is demonic...the most evil man to ever have emerged on the public stage. Obama is comfortable in evil and vile situations the way a pig is in his sty. His otherwise shameful acts are downright artistic in their twisted delicacy.
A prime example is the use of Marxist tee-shirts draped over the seats at the Tucson memorial...and the way he perverted a sad ceremony for the dead into a raucous celebration of his ego. The cheers of the crowd at his display of narcissism were magnified greatly by the fact that they stood as insults to the dead for whom the memorial was intended.
Amazing to me that the world doesn't see the demonic subscript that Obama so carefully crafts for all to see.
Shameless generally connotes ongoing behavior of which a person of normal moral conscience would be ashamed but of which the “shameless” person refuses to be ashamed. The term can transfer from the behavior to the person who is exhibiting that behavior. It’s pointless pedantry to point out that a person who has not been carrying on in a manner of which to be ashamed is “shameless.”

BTW, as you may recall, cult members relinquish their minds and consciences to the cult leader. I remember reading years ago that those who join cults experience a tremendous relief--a weight lifted off their shoulders--knowing that they no longer have to think or bear responsibility for their actions (this is what was said by folks who have left cults and have been deprogrammed).

I remember reading about an anti-Hitler Jew in Germany during Hitler's rise who said that he attended a rally and the crowds were so hypnotized that he found himself getting caught up against his will and better judgment. I guess the same sort of principle operated at the Obama rallies.
But, however it happened, it is something we must not ignore...or we do so at our own peril.
