They messed up bigtime, they only got one of the many. MPDV is not the only designer drug being sold as “bath salts” or “plant food” - and they’re sold that way in a shallow attempt to skirt the DEA’s Analog Laws. That way, the suppliers from China can claim the products are “Not for Human Consumption”, and therefore do not violate the Analog laws, but it’s well known what their real purpose is. Most of these designer drugs that your kids can walk into almost any convenience store and buy are simple analogs of the VERY illegal drugs MDMA (Ecstacy) and Methcathinone, and are classified as psychedelic amphetamines. The most prominent drugs being dumped in our neighborhoods by China are MPDV, Mephedrone, and Methylone. They produced tons and tons of these white powders and were selling them to kids in the UK Dance Club scene, until they started overdosing in droves, and the UK suddenly banned them. China quickly started shipping their surplus poisons to the US, and within a few short months their “products” are now on sale just down the street in all 50 states. These drugs are completely unknown “research chemicals”, with no real medical studies on their effects on humans. And yes, most demonstrate varying degrees of addiction (especially mephedrone).
