To a point, I agree with you.
Where I used to live a bunch of kids died from huffing refrigerant. They guessed wrong and found an ammonia system.
You can only protect the stupid so far.
So it’s the bath salts fault and not the person who decided to “inject” them? Shouldn’t we ban Bleach also based on that same premise?

I saw a doctor on TV last week whose son committed suicide related to these salts. Reminds me of Art Linklatter’s son “flying”, committing suicide while high.
You don’t have to be competing for the Darwin award, you can have that addiction gene.
