That would be Univision as McCain's VP in 2008. What do you think she should have said as a VP candidate in a Presidential race?

Load up the cattle cars?

As opposed to my post...

"learn from Reagan's mistakes"

That would be the follow-up AFTER his amnesty which the DEMS reneged on. The Democrat controlled Congress promised Ronald Reagan they would build a border fence, increase the Border Patrol and do other steps to stop all further illegals entering if he would sign the Amnesty bill. He did and the Democrats in Congress then reneged on every promise they made.

Sound familiar?

BTW, folks used to think the Earth was flat. The commoners figured that one out too.

So, one more time...

Currently there is no other pathway than the existing laws.

A amnesty bill must first go through the House and Senate. Not very likely now.

Until such pathway exists the way I read this is Sarah is saying rather plainly and with no embellishment "you will be deported."

She states her first step is to "register" all the illegals, AS illegals.

That alone will put the fear in them, sending many back across the border, getting the attention of potential employers and will certainly send the communists into a foaming-at-mouth rage causing them to make mistakes. An "amnesty" such as what we were looking at with McCain is not in the cards.

Here's her interview her interview with Univision and her interview with O'Reilly in July 2010. Palin states the same thing in both interviews - that she is for about a pathway for citizenship for illegal aliens.

Facts are facts. Playing word games does not change Palin's stance. Whether you or Palin choose to admit it a pathway to citizenship is amnesty.

Per Webster amnesty is the act of an authority by which pardon is granted to a large group of individuals. Pardon is defined as the release from the legal penalties of an offense. Deportation is the penalty for the offense of being an illegal alien, ergo not deporting is amnesty.

Nice try to get me to defend cattle cars! How about we remove all incentives to stay here: SSI, disability, anchor baby citizenship, free medical care, housing assistance, food stamps, education, ...? The illegals can then self-deport and leave the same way they came.
