I don't even need to see the assumptions to know that this is an uber lie.
Regarding CFLs, I don't know why people are so slow to accept them. I mean, who doesn't want a mercury-filled glowing tube that has such an irritating wavelength that it gives eyestrain, headaches, and makes everyone look like Frankenstein?
.
Like I said... if you need CFL... get GE Reveal neodymium bulbs. At least the color is like daylight.
“who doesn’t want a mercury-filled glowing tube “
Not to mention what happens when they break — you can inhale deeply the wonderful, poisonous mercury vapors.
“Regarding CFLs, I don’t know why people are so slow to accept them.”
Not too mention the $3,000 HAZMAT response if you break one, and follow EPA clean up rules...
Ventilation, a special vac, etc.
And we haven’t even BEGUN to discuss the BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars it’s going to take to clean the mmercury out of the landfills in 20 years.
“If every American home replaced just one incandescent bulb with one CFL, the corresponding cut in greenhouse gas emissions would equal the amount of pollutants produced by more than 800,000 vehicles...”
And if the government would allow building of nuclear plants, we could use as much electricity as we want, without the generation of “greenhouse gases”.
Let’s not forget the seizure inducing ‘fluttering’ when the bulb starts to lose its charge. That’s fun on the brain!
