Ask why Obama wants to freeze spending at record levels instead of cutting spending like the majority of Americans favor.

Freezing non-security spending will not make any real significant impact on the budget. Half of the budget is consumed by the entitlement programs and debt servicing costs. Once you remove the almost $1 trillion for all national security costs, there is very little left to make any siginficant savings.
