It's bipartisan date night on the floor of the House and invitations are flying. But not all are being accepted.
House Democratic Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has rejected an invitation from Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., to sit together at the President's State of the Union Address.
Pelosi moments ago announced that she had already extended an invitation to Rep. Roscoe Bartlett, of Maryland, who also happens to be a Republican.
Cantor was shot down in a tweet from the former speaker.
"I thank @GOPLeader for his #SOTU offer, but I invited my friend Rep. Bartlett from MD yesterday & am pleased he accepted."
One has to employ Occam's Razor and look for a simpler explanation: the Republican and Democratic Parties are not actually separate, opposed entities.
Yep. This corrupt "Two-Party Cartel" can not let a conservative agenda spring forth as they are bought & paid for by the elites. How ironic but NEVER NEVER NEVER do the leftists ever come to the other (conservative) side. In fact when opposed the left digs in deeper.
I wish I could read the New O book and not have to pay for it.

I would have puked as soon as Pelosi showed up, let along getting next to me.
Just when I think the GOP may have actually learned a lesson, they fall right into another Dem trap, and now the Dems own ‘civility’ in the eyes of the public. Boehner and Cantor should have been reading the vitriolic quotes said about the GOP from Obama and the other Rat leadership that past 10 years in front of the nearest camera they coud find; instead, Cantor now gets “rejected” by the Belle of the Ball. The GOP is disgustingly inept politically...
I am cracking up - My friend just commented to me that she suspects there will be notes being passed around that say “I like you in a bipartisan sucking up kind of way. Do you like me? YES or NO”
