How about official responses from actual political parties like the Libertarian Party, Constitution Party, the Greens, AIP, whatever?
Last a checked the "TEA Party" wasn't an actual political party, and it has no leaders, per se, to be speaking for it. So why should someone be afforded a position of prominence akin to one of the oldest and largest political parties in the country, just because they choose to appropriate the name of a movement?
The tea party has a caucus. The tea party with a MIX of many and Independent voters that do not whistle dixie for the GOP elected the GOP majority.
Call it Independent voters call it Tea Party. They should have a voice. I get the protocol but the GOP best stop their arrogance and stop acting like democrats. The whole point is both parties need to go or CHANGE and they didn’t seem to get the message.
A news outlet should air news. If they think their viewers are interested in something, you would imagine they would air it. That’s where they should draw the line. It’s why we mostly think the MSM has an agenda, because they do not air news their viewers might be interested in, but because they show the *news* they want their viewers to see.
Just fyi, parties aren’t mentioned in the constitution. George Washington thought they were a bad way to do business. And if the repubs were doing their job,,, they wouldn’t get challenges.
The tryouts, instead of claiming divine right, would do well to wonder why so many people feel they need Bachmann to speak to their opinions.
*Where do you draw the line? *
There should be no “responses” at all. If you want to give a speech, win the office.
