In all of earthly reality you are probably right but not if we Christians bring down the power of The LORD by our faithful (believing) prayers. The gates of hell cannot prevail against God's Church. Battles are won in the Spirit of God for we do not fight against flesh and blood. The sooner Christians start actually believing this and not be as the spies that said the giants were too big to fight and unbelieving they gave up but rather be like Caleb and Joshua who understood that no battle is too for The LORD the sooner victories will mount up.
These people mock God and it is time to rise up as David and not let them. If we could see our victory in terms of man and what would happen without the intervention of God then faith would not be required. We should rise up and glory in the opportunity for the power of God and His intervention and His glory to be manifestoed in the affairs of man.
