I built many houses in Gloucester.

One thing I learned is that any talk of not supporting whatever rat candidate in local/state/federal polling was a quick way to get threatened with violence...

It is their guy behind this... As well as Clinton and W.

This was a done deal years back, the Chinese processing ships have already filled the void.

All is well.

This was a done deal years back,

The bumper stickers in coastal Mass. say "NOAA destroying fishermen and their communities since 1976";

This has been a long process of putting fishermen out of business. Obama will try to finish them off.

I have spent a lot of my time in the last 15 years in various battles to help fishermen. Fishermen have a basic problem-they are individualistic and are hard to organize. There are tensions between different groups. Draggers ripping up the bottom - Gill netters not tending their gear and having to throw away fish.

Fishermen are away from land based people who make the rules governing their lives. Fishermen are at sea and don't have the time for phone calls to politicians and regulators. They get up early come home tired and don't have much time for interaction with people who are affecting their lives. In short organizing dragger fishermen, longliners and gill netters is like trying to herd a bunch of cats.

The fishermen for the most part, ignored the problem and used resourceful ways to keep on fishing. Those options have been shut down now. The environmental groups like Ocean Conservancy and several others, have worked dilligently and effectively to stop the fishermen.

Some of the fishing regulations are so outrageous and childish, unless you are knowledgeable, or involved you wouldn't believe what NOAA haas gotten away with. I hope some of this comes out in an investigation.- Tom
