This is true-- but only because the MSM and Hollywood--and hence the sheeple they program--won't acknowledge that the Secular Left also wants to impose its beliefs on everyone.
Take homosexuality as an example. Social conservatives tend to disapprove of this behavior. And they would want schools to teach their viewpoint. But they would probably be mollified if the Left didn't want to insist upon foisting pro-gay messages into curricula. In other words, if the school systems were truly neutral on the subject, then there would not be so much outrage.
I am also now tired of the "conservatives want to be in your bedroom" argument. Abortions don't happen in bedrooms-- they happen in "clinics." And no credible conservative advocates banning contraceptives. Yet now the Liberals want the government to be able to tell your own doctor what treatments that he or she will be able to give you. Talk about an invasion of privacy!
That is because they ARE more racist... QED
If I may put your point in fewer words: Liberals are highly susceptible to group-think.
bttt
Thomas Jefferson made similar points in his notes on Virginia.
How about Conservatives are comfortable with the truth?
Truth has no agenda therefore liberals can’t stand it.
I don't entirely agree.
I think rank-n-file "liberals" are stupid or ignorant.
I think leadership grade "liberals" are evil.
Removing the imposition of beliefs is not in itself imposing beliefs. It would not be the libertarian who is throwing people in jail and knocking down doors for failing to adhere to a belief.
Again, I disagree. Evil tactics are evil, and must always be rejected ... even against evil opponents.
“Removing the imposition of beliefs is not in itself imposing beliefs.”
You’re in denial that you are imposing your belief system. You are imposing your belief system on an entire society, by forcing society to deal with the results of an activity you, contrary to facts, believe to be not harmful.
That’s really not libertarian at all, it’s creeping anarchy.
The question isn't whether it's harmful. Lots of currently legal things are harmful. The question is whether you think you have the power to tell a supposedly free person what he can or cannot put into his body. Telling him that he cannot is imposing your beliefs onto that person. You might as well be telling him what religion he can or cannot believe.
“Liberals deny the existance of objective truth and objective right and wrong. When these things are not (seen as) objective, they are defined by the individual, and inherently conflict.
Therefore, what is right and true is determined by who obtains and uses the power to impose their truth on others. Government therefore becomes GOD to them.”

Urban versus rural tends to reflect liberal versus conservative, as I read your post. Agreed.
A couple of local talk jocks made a wager on the air. The loser was required to drive across rural Georgia in a Geo or Neon or something, using secondary roads only, with the back window emblazoned thusly:
“I AM A GAY URBAN LIBERAL AND I’M HERE TO TAKE AWAY YOUR GUNS!!”
Don’t recall if the bet loser survived his terrifying ride.
;^)
That’s funny! It’s amazing to watch the urbans invade the rural. They come in with the “I’m going to class this place up”. They don’t usually last too long, but can cause a lot of heart burn while they’re around.

Unfortunately , conservs have not until now been involved in the arts, teaching in universities, using the media as a forum, and that has hurt. Now, they are going to step that up and it will aid the Republic for doing so.
That right there is tagline material... I don't care who you are
