It is not just a tradition or a rule. It is a Constitutional requirement.

It is a incredibly poor strategy, legal or otherwise, to spend MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS of taxpayer dollars to hide a required common document from public view and repeatedly lie about it.

Further, it would be complete political folly to then reveal a LONG FORM of the Birth Certificate several years later, with the purpose of putting one over on The People or supposedly embarrassing political opponents for insisting on adherence to a Constitutional requirement.

Something about this whole thing has the foul stench of deception.

This story, originally, held no interest for me. I thought that it wasn’t true, or even if true, that he would eventually produce a bc (even if phony) just to shut everyone up. So far, for some inexplicable reason, he has not produced said document and I must wonder why now.

If he is not eligible to be president, then someone needs to establish the fact before he tries to run for re-election.

Those in power on both sides have nothing but contempt for the Constitution. How dare anyone try to limit their power?

They will never consider the issue because they consider it moot, if for no other reason than the fact that it is in the constitution.

They hate Sarah Palin and the Tea Party because we stand for the rule of law rather than their power.

No. They're afraid, very afraid of the repurcussions if it becomes accepted that obama is not eligible. These would most likely include a new civil war, a revolution, elimination of our system of government, the burning of the Constitution, voiding of international treaties, complete anarchy, martial law, and additional unpredictable negative results.
