Please don’t thank ME.

As I said ... I see these threads and think of family that serves and friends who serve and I just get choked up.

We have volunteers. People who say, “Take me.”

It just blows my mind. There’s no possible way to express how grateful I feel to be kept free by people who volunteer to keep me safe.

It’s like being in the presence of such greatness.

Americans from all walks of life choose to serve...and the pay ain’t great.

It’s really an HONOR to post on the thread.

It IS an awesome feeling, isn't it? I feel much the same way, and I'm one of those old guys who went there and did that.

I'm surrounded by military personnel where I live and work; and knowing what I do about them I feel much as you do. There just isn't enough a person can say or do. It's a bit amusing to see their reactions when you thank them for their service and sacrifice. And the families truly appreciate knowing that we're here to help them when they need it.
