Evans states that Abercrombie replied "I first remember Barack when he was in a T-ball league, about 5 or 6 years old" (!!!)

Because T-ball was a big thing in Hawaii in 1966-7? I don't think so. The game was invented on the mainland about the time Obama was born (or a few years earlier) and didn't really catch on until decades later.

Besides, Obama went to Indonesia in 1967. His father, Abercrombie's friend, left Hawaii in 1962. That doesn't in itself disprove the story, but it makes it less likely.

The funny thing is that The Onion came out with this story years ago: "Obama Under Fire For Playing T-Ball During Vietnam."

It doesn't sound like Adams and Abercrombie were really that close. They might have had a few drinks together over the years, but it would be strange if Adams just called up Abercrombie and got the whole inside story.

Not correct.

See photos of them together at his web site, many links posted, photo posted, they have been friends for nearly 40 years.

Seriously -— not true.
