No. He is 100 percent correct. The Tea Party is for the regular folks. The mom and pop owners, the hard working folks. The politicians are the ones using the tea party and Rubio called them out. Why is it that we so quickly drop a candidate because they don’t go along with the Washington crowd? I applaud this young Senator 100 percent!!!!!

If he indeed told the Tea Party to get lost (some here say that is not so), then he needs to re-think that. It makes it look like he doesn’t care a bit about what the Tea Partiers stand for, even though they helped him get to where he is.

I agree. The power of the tea party generated from the states not Washington DC. Keep it clean.

You’re right. Reading the headlines only, and not the article or other FReeper comments, has become more and more common on FR recently. So even when someone’s posting to correct the misleading headline as you did it often goes unnoticed. As a group it’s making us more susceptible to being manipulated and pulled around by our noses by the likes of CNN. This worries me.
