Absolutely not a rant! My apologies for not expressing my concern for the officers and their families. Mea culpa. My son is a uniformed deputy sheriff here in Florida, as is a son-in-law.

Crime against our cops is not a video game or Hollywood movie,folks, but REALITY. Actually, with the number of laws making blinking in the general direction of a law enforcement officer a felony, we could disarm our LEOs and make the armed criminals the REAL bad guys.
Shoot an unarmed LEO (wound or kill), instant death penalty.
