BANG!
I still can’t believe it.
GB in the SB? Win or lose, that’s beyond my expectations.
Shoot it Much... Well Shawn built it in 2004 & I have sent exactly 364 rounds down the barrel according to my shooting log. Had to go look it up.
That is impressive.
I am happy to hit an oxygen cylinder 5 of 10 times at 400 yards.
Paging Mr. Namath. White courtesy phone please!
Ping a ling...
fire watch... burning stuff for my dad..
listening to the Gourds... Haymaker album.... they rock!!!
I have my mod. Glock b!tch with me...and the red dog is here, as well as Rowdy... I am safe and sound...
Hope everyone else is... I pray...
SHOT Show tonight. Koool
Looks like yall are goin to Texas!
Oh this is gonna be a hoot!
I will make bratwurst in your honor.
The steelers are gonna win though.
Sippin on gin and juice?
Its been a very long road for the Jets.
I think Packers and Steelers would actually make for a great working mans Super Bowl.
Remember at 500 yds most people cant hit a barn so hitting a tank is great. Alot of hitting at that range is equipment. Use a 5.5 to 22 power scope & have good trigger control & it is actually no harder then 1” groups @ 100yds. It took many hours of practice for me to get as bad as I am. And I do mean bad I have a few friends who shoot that can put them into a 8” paper plate @ 1000yds and hit a dollar bill @ 500 yds.
Hey, I used that baby swiss in some home made French onion soup yesterday and today.
Very nice.
Did this guy just say he used a 50 BMG on a feral hog? WTF for?
I think at that range a lot of it is technique. I have never tried supine sniper technique.
It is hard to control the aim at that range even off a table with a rest.
Though I have seen people do it from the shoulder standing up with iron sights with consistency.
That is some good shooting!
Now, back to bang talk, is there a good, affordable scope mount lapping kit? I've looked at a few, and they're cheaper than a smithy, but I've never used one. I need one for my new Nikon that I want to mount to my Mossy 500 slug barrel.
Did this guy just say he used a 50 BMG on a feral hog? WTF for?
Because he could??? Hell if I know but any reason I could come up with to shoot a .50 I would.
Heck, at 500 yds I'm lucky to SEE the barn. Gotta get these glasses checked!
Well, that is true.
I love Pittsburgh as a town. I just cant root for the football team. but they clearly have it going on.
Green bay is limping along.
Lapping kit? What for maximizing surface contact between parts?
I would think that would be a custom job. Not DIY
Try some on a grilled ham & cheese.
50 BMG on a hog? Guess he wanted to make pork sausage. Wonder how he managed scrape it all up. Or, he just wanted to get rid of a varmint.
