The Chinese propaganda film that the music is from makes the most implausible claim that U.S. involvement in the Korean War was actually intended to conquer China. In what alternative universe?

I have the suspicion that the pianist did this to curry favor with the PRC. Their government is based on patronage, not merit.

The United States has fought in other countries; but the largest bit of land they’ve ever asked for has been just enough to BURY THEIR DEAD MILITARY MEN AFTER THEY HAVE FOUGHT AND DIED TO LIBERATE THOSE COUNTRIES! I suppose this “Apologist in Chief” wants to apologize for THAT!!!
