If the shoe fits; then let the message resonate per the 'ears that hear'.
Hannity brings the REBUBLICAN message to the public, not necessarily a Conservative message. Then he muddies the water up by claiming he is ‘conservative’ first. He does this so he can run from responsibility of bad things he fully supported(hint : GWB"). He was for the GM bailout under Bush.
My favorite on FNC has been Cavuto for years. He was consistently against every bailout and stimulus package even those when Bush was in office. A day before the 2008 election Cavuto had a McCain spokesman on and was giving him grief for McCain suddenly acting as if he was against TARP (it was very unpopular by then) after voting for it, and after McCain telling house members to vote for it. After McCain flew back to DC to save TARP, remember???
Cavuto asked McCain spokeman:”Wasn't the time to raise those objections BEFORE he voted for it?Isn't he trying to have it both ways?” RNC Hannity would only ask a Democrat questions like that, especially before an election. Hannity was busy claiming that phony McCain warned us all.
Republicans including RINOs go on Hannity's show to get a free pass.
