This is really dumb. Two years ago the last health director already verified she had a birth certificate on file and that he was born in Hawaii. It was also already well-known that state law prohibited disclosure of the BC.

The new governor is just rehashing all this to stir the birther pot and create a distraction for Obama's opposition.

She certified she had seen Obama’s ‘birth records’. Big difference is she did NOT say she had seen his original BIRTH CERTIFICATE
