As far as I know, everything produced on the internet has been proved to be fake. My theory is that Abercrombie is playing "the dog ate my homework," trick. In his case, he did find the real document and found information on it that, if revealed, would be disastrous to Barry O. This also sets up the next step: Destroy the real document.
