As Virginia moves to ban illegal immigrants from enrolling in colleges, one local lawmaker is proposing a bill at the state level that would require schools to report the tally of illegal immigrant students to the state secretary of education.
Todd Gilbert, a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, said under his bill illegal immigrant students will retain the right to receive a public school education but that Virginia taxpayers have a right to know how much the country's "broken immigration system is costing them.

What’s wrong with keeping numbers on how many illegal alien students are exploiting our public education system? If the states get more and more bankrupt this will be worth taking to court and getting rid of these leeches

Very good Puppage. You nailed that one. My question is; if we know they are illegal why can’t we SHIP THEM BACK??????
What the hell is wrong with these people? Well I guess that was 2 questions. Oh well.
Nothing. It's the cost associated to do so that I have a problem with. A cost that we wouldn't need to incur if we just deported the whole lot of 'em.
OK!
Non-sequitur.
No such right exists to retain.

Let’s not forget that the state hired bureaucrats who keep track of this, will no doubt come under administrative, (read lib’rul) pressure to under-report actual costs or to report no illegals at all...
Next step:
Break it out as a seperate line item on annual school tax bill.
Uh, and then what? Gonna bill Mexico?
Ping!
Yes, why would we ever want to know how many of our tax dollars are going to educate (much less house and feed) illegal immigrants? How silly!
