Remember Virginia Ironside? The British advice guru who believes that mothers should be able to smother their suffering babies with pillows? Well, shes back, with a recent piece on Mail Online, touting her youthful service as a veritable Moses on the front lines of the sexual revolution, clearing our way through the sexual undergrowth toward the promised land of consequence-free sexual freedom for future generations.
Because when it came to sex, we were, of course, the trailblazers for a completely new attitude, and blazing trails is always horribly uncomfortable. We were the ones with the hacksaws and dust masks, clearing our way through the sexual undergrowth, getting covered with scratches and gashes and slipping into invisible swamps. Its the people who follow afterwards who have the easier time, sauntering along the trodden path, picking roses along the way. Young people today.
The question is, what exactly was it that Ironside and her comrades so recklessly discarded with those dust masks and hacksaws?

I thought they wanted population control through abortion?
Reduction in CO2 if there were not additional people expelling it?
Now this dolt is advocating younger promiscuity?
That will get it done.
Well, her and a bedpost ~ maybe a captive pillow ~ but definitely not the sort of relationship normally encountered by mammals in general.
This person appears to have been low on the totem pole of the sexual revolution. It is far more appropriate to blame the heads and financiers of media and academia.
Again, in biology, the promiscuous mating strategy is called the “r selective” mating strategy. It is embraced at the species level by a species which can reasonably expect a high mortality in offspring. Mate as often as possible, by as many mates as possible, producing as many offspring as possible, and hope a few survive the environment to repeat the process.
By contrast, more evolved species, such as Homo sapiens, tend to adopt a “K selective” meating strategy, where two parents bond, and produce a few, highly competitive children. Parents offer as much of themselves as possible to their children, to make them as competitive as possible, as they want that competitive advantage for their children.
Thse humans who go “r selective” do so, because cues in their childhood environment indicate to them that they will be uncompetitive. Once those switches are thrown in thebrain of a child, it will alter their entire development. A decade later, they will enter puberty earlier, and on maturation, they will exhibit a psychology prone to depersonalize mates, engage in selfishness, denigrate masculinity, and cheat on mates. Liberalism is an evolutionary psychology embraced by losers.
