Just who wants to buy these new houses? And why do they believe that so many need to be built when obviously there is a huge overage of existing structures that aren't moving, much less all that shadow inventory which isn't even on the market?

You think they might have some 'inside' knowledge about an illegal alien amnesty bill, or some new type of VA-loan coming down the pipeline...... OR??????????

The highest estimate I've seen anyone work out using known data and historic occupancy rates (and square ft. per person) says we have a 15 year OVERHANG.

That will keep prices depressed for quite some time.
