“Sounds to me like he did nothing illegal.”
From what I read, it was the death of a patient that brought the charges. Evidently some woman from Nepal was overdosed with anesthesia administered by some high school kid. I guess the late term abortions were performed on infants that were at least 8 months in the womb and certainly able to live on their own. That is certainly illegal. I just hope that this horror will force legislators to reconsider abortion as a legal right and make it a crime once again.
Partial birth abortion is not illegal. It’s woman’s right.
Seven of the murder indictments are for babies who were allegedly fully delivered, born alive, were moving and breathing, and who had their spinal cords cut in half by this man’s scissors.
And THAT is illegal even in the hideous realm of ‘late-term’ abortions.
"Certainly"? As far as federal law is concerned, a woman has a Constitutional right to have her child killed right up to the moment of birth. The states have some ability to regulate it, but they're hamstrung by court decisions relating to "undue burdens" placed on a woman who wants her child killed.
I read the full 200+ Grand Jury report. It tool me two days as it was so gruesome and painful to read that I had to stop frequently to get the images and anger out of my mind.
The discovery of his abortion atrocities was “accidental”, only discovered when they raided him for running a pill mill. Even though he had been reported for poor sanitary practices, untrained medical staff and the maiming and death of patients and different agencies and investigators were disturbed over things they had seen in the past, no connection was made by all the agencies who had some knowledge of his practices and what connection was made was conveniently overlooked or dropped by prosecutors.
I do not think hell has a place hot enough for this man.
