If Congress doesn’t require all federal candidates to present their birth certificates prior to running for office, this country’s asking for its demise as a free nation. If Obama gets a free pass the next time around, then there is nothing to stop an influx of candidates who owe allegiance to other countries whose officials can deny that their puppets are foreign citizens. In other words, our sovereignty is destroyed as foreigners take control of the U.S. government from the inside.
I could see states implementing a requirement (maybe a handful of states) that required the birth certificate to be shown to the Attorney General in each state to certify who they are. But even if you disqualified the President in a couple of states....write-in ballots would be used by most folks to still force the issue into the next round.

As the ONLY country in the world that is NOT allowed to control its borders, our sovereignty is already gone. People who are here illegally are stealing jobs, stealing money and then sending money out of the country.
Last time I checked, most countries limit how much money can be sent out of that country.

You have described the grave danger this puts us in. I have heard it said that the reason even conservative media people will not touch this is because it would cause such chaos if he is found to be ineligible and removed. This is true..However, if our Constitution has been breached in this way, it must be faced and corrected. At first, I did not pay much attention to this, but the refusal of the President, himself, to address the issue directly and demand that an investigation go forward to prove that he is who he claims to be, is just too irrational to brush aside and forget. Name one American citizen you know who would not be willing to do that. I have to say that the silence of our media, our lawmakers, and our institutions of all kinds on this matter is really perplexing..WHAT ARE THEY AFRAID OF?
