I don’t know the specifics of this case, but you cannot just blame union at every juncture. “Free Trade” often kills jobs even in plants that are profitable because why pay a person $15 plus bennies when I can pay someone $2 an hour with no bennies??

Unions can definitely kill a plant, but they aren’t always the reason why jobs move.

“Free Trade” is probably one of the biggest scams ever perpetrated on the American Experiment. “Fair Trade” makes sense, “free trade” where third world countries get open access to markets without having to do jack to earn it is a complete and total scam.. it winds up propping up dictators, promoting abuse, and killing economies.

Free Trade among equals is fine, but that is not what is going on today at all.

As I have explained in other responses.....if it takes 3 people at 5 b ucks and hour to do the job of 1 person at 15 bucks an hour, where are the savings???? They are in the need to not comply with over zealous regulations, over taxed property, improvements, and personnel......they are in not having to comform to some dope smoking hippies thoughts that your plant produces too much pollutiion, and must go through a 100 million dollar renovation ( using nothing but union people ) in order to stay in business..... the problem is not union labor....the problem is not greedy management....the problem is government interference with the rights of those starting and maintaining businesses being crapped upon and used as a basis for government beaurocrats to get the massive benefits they have bestowed upon themselves.....if you wish to have a further discussion on this subject, I am here......I beg anyone on this site to prove me wrong ( please, because if I am right, then the conspiracy is larger than even I can imagine)
