I think it might be worth a trip across the Narrows Bridge to go see her when she arrives. I’ve seen the USS Abraham Lincoln when she was at Naval Station Everett. It just amazes me how BIG those ships are.

Yes it would be a wonderful sight! I had a photo once of the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial with a newer ship next to it. Just amazing.

I was aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt for 2 years, when one day I ran into a good friend from high school. We knew each other immediately. He had been aboard for a year and a half.
