I agree, except for the salvation and knowing how it will end part. I figure I’ll be dead by then and it doesn’t really matter if I know anyway.
A 9.5 meters Confucius Statue shares Tiananmen square with Mao.
So you have no assurance of Salvation?
What, if any is your faith, then?
If you die without salvation it’s permanent and eternal.
You’re gonna have to work REALLY HARD to make sure your “good stuff” “balances out” your “bad stuff”...
and how do you know what IS the “good stuff”
and what is the “bad stuff”
and when you have worked “hard enough” to “balance”?
Defined for yourself? Assured that you’re right in your answers? How can you know that you’re right besides just assuming that you think you’re right and that means that you’re right?
Pretty risky if you ask me.
Hence the modification of my usual tagline. :D
excellent article, to the OP “Thank You!”
I’ve been told that Isis and other goddess statues are marketed in Calif. Not living there I don’t know if this is true, yet I don’t doubt it.
PING = 4 REVIEW
“Those who call themselves Christians and are really pagans will be the worst persecutors.”
They already ARE....and this WILL intensify.
There are probably a lot of members of the Mormon church that don’t believe that crap and are just members of the club.
There are certain essentials to being one of His,
and being (or not being) in a certain group is not one of them.
It is a problem, though, if you are leading others astray with false doctrine.
They are marketed all over, but yeah I suppose they are easier to find in California (and other West Coast states like WA and OR) then they are say in the central plains.
CA does seem to have more than its fair share of New Age bookstores (grew up in CA).,
I don’t believe there is a need for it.
I don’t know the name of my faith. I just believe in one God, creator of all.
President Calvin Coolidge identified as "pagan materialism."

Not true. Mormonism is hard to stay in if you are not a ‘TBM’ (True Believing Mormon). I suppose there are a few that just remain for social reasons, but they tend to be athiests. For the most part, the active members really believe those doctrines and teachings.
Those who come to Christ, leave Mormonism, and quickly. Once you know the truth, you cannot stay.
Been there, done that, pinged others who have done the same.
Our beliefs differ. I believe, I do not know. I believe God made each of us, individually, for whatever His purpose.
More of a deist then?
So, how do you feel about Jesus’ claim that He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life?
Honest question.
Do we call them CINO’S
“Apostate Church” would be an appropriate term.
Or “whore of Babylon”...
That's gotta suck.
"Believing" arbitrarily without any assurance of what's going to happen in the eternal...
