Mayoral candidate Carol Moseley Braun this morning sharply attacked former President Bill Clinton's endorsement of Rahm Emanuel, calling it "a betrayal to the people who were most loyal to him."
"President Bill Clinton does not live or vote in Chicago," said a statement issued by her campaign. "He's an outsider parachuting in to support another outsider. For him to come on the day following Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday to insert himself in the middle of a mayoral race, when the majority of the population and mayoral candidates are African American and Latino, is a betrayal of the people who were most loyal to him. It's a mistake."

Betrayal = when everything isn’t free
The Chicago Donkeys elected Harold Washington, a black lawyer, as Mayor of Chicago (1983-1987). He dies from a massive heart attack as I recall.
Wake me up when these people, (yes the broad brush terminology IS appropriate), consider themselves Americans and not hyphenated-Americans, whose “special needs” have to be addressed as part of a voting payback.
